Working with Houston custom home builders is a rewarding experience, but it is one that takes a bit of time. Obviously, you’re going to need somewhere to stay while your home is being built. Hopefully, you’ll be able to stay in your current home or other dwelling while building is completed, but if not, there are some other options. The best option, of course, is to find friends or family members who are willing to let you stay with them for a while. This is usually the cheapest option, and there are storage facilities that allow you to store your belongings for a fee so you’re not taking up too much space in your loved one’s home. If you have already secured a moving company, they sometimes offer storage services as well.

If staying with others is not an option, consider looking into apartment complexes in your neighborhood. Explain that you are working with Houston custom home builders and only need a temporary place to live. Many apartment complex offer or will offer short-term or even month-to-month leases to give you a place to stay without a major commitment. Extended-stay hotels are another option, though they can be expensive.
