Prepare Your Bathroom for Remodeling

When it comes to bathroom remodeling, Houston homeowners are encouraged to take steps to ready their bathrooms for the remodeling process. If you have pictures or other wall hangings displayed in your bathroom, move them out and store them until the remodeling job is complete. You don’t want to risk them getting damaged in the course of all of the work that is about to go on in that space. You may also wish to remove your shower curtain, bathroom rugs, and other little extras that could be harmed during the remodeling process.

If you have pets, keep them out of the bathroom! Devise a plan for keeping pets away from the bathroom, whether that means securing them in a room or putting up a baby gate that will not interfere with the remodeling process. Pets can easily get trampled underfoot by accident while remodeling is going on, or they could ingest a harmful substance or hurt themselves on a tool used in the remodeling process.
